About us

Intercolor, a. s. was founded in 1992. The company initially focused primarily on dyeing and treatment of knitted fabric, using modern Italian technology. These technologies have been continuously modernized. The company has grown over the years and increased its turnover multiple times.

Developments in the textile industry in the new millennium required a reassessment of the former one-sided focus of the company and in the following years the following investment programs were implemented:

1998 – 1999 – enlargement of the company premises, the size of the building area doubled from its original 3600 m²
2002 – 2003 – introduction of new technology for garment dyeing
2006 – the company also began to focus on fabrics treatment. For this purpose, adjacent buildings and land formerly belonging to Perla, a. s. were purchased.
2008 – a print shop was established and technology for rotary printing was acquired, with the ability to print on fabrics as well as on knitted materials
2009 – printing services were extended to include printing technology for elastics, straps, trimmings and ribbons
2009 – spectral analysis laboratory (LSA) was established
2012 – technological capabilities were extended to include coating textile materials
2014 – the investment to purchase a pressure jigger for dyeing synthetic and blended fabrics was implemented
2015 - Acquisition of technology for continuous washing line for fabric processing (technical fabrics, pre-treatment of fabrics for printing, special fabrics for military purposes, fabrics designed for Automotive program)
2017 - Acquisition of modern technology for singeing line for fabrics, some kinds of warp-knitted fabrics and non-woven textiles (shirtings - poplins, fabrics for dyeing, special fabrics from unconventional materials (goat hair, bamboo, various types of viscose), fabrics for healthcare, technical fabrics, fabrics for printing pretreatment, special fabrics for military use, fabrics f or Automotive programme)

Intercolor operates its entire business in the form of wage labour.

At present the company's field of business includes the following activities:

dyeing and treatment of knitted fabrics (natural, synthetic, blended materials, including elastic)
dyeing and treatment of finished products (natural and polyamide materials)
dyeing and treatment of fabrics (natural, synthetic and blended)
rotary all-over printing on knitted and woven fabrics
printing on straps and elastics
coating of materials
accredited tests in spectral analysis laboratory (determination of permeability, column of water, resistance to abrasion, colour measurement, reflectance curves)

Certification of quality management system according to ISO 9001 reates the conditions for a permanent increase in customer satisfaction in our organization.

Our company is a member of the Defence and Security Industry Association of the Czech Republic - DSIA.

Intercolor holds a "Certificate from Defence Standardisation, Codification and Government Quality Assurance Authority, for quality system compliance with the requirements of ČSN EN ISO 9001: 2009 and ČOS 051672" (AQAP 2110)
